Vascular access for CKD patients with regards to the AVF for haemodialysis is an essential part of kidney replacement therapy. Vascular access is frequently referred to as the 'patient lifeline'. Given the vital importance of this topic NephroCare has developed numerous tools and services focusing on the management and care of vascual access. More tahn a decade of experience in NephroCare clinics has given them a high level of renal care expertise which they constantly reinvest in the NephroCare network in the formof guidelines and best practice approaches enriches and guided by NephroCare services and tools.

For these reasons, the company is strongly interested in the possible knowledge advancement of the project: "SMART - Self.Monitoring of arteriovenous fistula".
